Blood Pressure Monitor
Irregular Heartbeat Detection. Universal Cuff. Easy to Read.
Designed to give you control over your own health, and results you can trust. Measure your blood pressure quickly and easily with our blood pressure monitors. Which take a reading while the cuff inflates and releases quickly once the reading is complete. Aiming to minimise the pressure on your arm. These monitors have a universal cuff (22cm-42cm) included in the box for comfort and accuracy when taking a blood pressure reading.
Our monitors have a reference indicator to classify you reading, for easy interpretation of results, and hold a record of your results to share with your GP if you wish, or simply give you a great overview of your readings.
How do our Blood Pressure Monitors Work?
Our fully automated blood pressure monitors work by applying pressure to the upper arm in order to measure the pressure of blood flow in your arteries in two numbers. Systolic (top number) pressure is the force that your heart pumps blood around the body. While diastolic (bottom number) pressure, is the pressure of the blood when your heart rests in between beats; indicating the resistance to the blood flow in your blood vessels.
Ideal for:
People wishing to monitor their blood pressure from the comfort of their home rather than booking appointments with GP or nurses, or visiting your local pharmacy. With a memory able to store results that can be shared with your GP.
Directions for Use
- Put the cuff on, following the instructions that come with your blood pressure machine
- Make sure you are relaxed and comfortable. If you are anxious or uncomfortable, this will make your blood pressure rise temporarily.
- When you are taking you reading, keep still and silent. Moving and walking can affect your reading on the blood pressure monitor.
- Press the button on the machine and the cuff will inflate and display both systolic (top number) and diastolic (bottom number) for you.
- Take two or three reading, each about two minutes apart, and then work out the average. (Some people find their first reading is much higher than the next readings. If this is the case, keep taking readings until they level out).
- Record your reading, either in the memory of your blood pressure or note down for yourself separately.
